Rough game last Friday but I see the Cats bouncing back against the Cardinals. Defense showed a lot of promise as did the offense. Turnovers will kill you against anyone, especially Artesia. Robertson lost to Portales last week so this game should give us an indication as to where we stack up amonst some of the 3A teams. I see Lovington bouncing back and winning 28-21.

The game against artesia showed us that lovington has a good team that will compete with anyone in 3A. The offensive line is going to be their stongest unit. The turnovers were unfortunate but those were errors that can be corrected. We got spoiled to the offense of the last two years. This is a new young group and there will be growing pains as well as the players geting better adjusted to the positions. I see this team improving every week in every aspect. The defense wasnt too shabby, fatigue took its toll. Lets have some patience, these boys might not put up fifty points a night but theyll get the job done. The team will be sharper on both sides of the ball. Lovington wins this one 35-14.

Lovington will win 28-24 in a last min drive or turnover. The game against Artesia didn't tell us anything, because Artesia looked the worst they ever have. Did you see the dog pile? What a joke, it was like they were scare to jump on eachother. Lovington O was a joke that I've never seen an O ran. Lovington better get Robles in there or this could get ugly again.
