Ive noticed when lovington has home games, there really isnt alot of trash talking among the lvt fans and the visiting team throughout the stadium. Ive seen on a few occasions with hobbs here some "healthy" trash talk with both parties having a good laugh. Ive also heard the "other kind" of trash talk. Theres been games in the past where lovington was the visiting team and the trip was made up north. And some of those people were pretty bad. They didnt seem to care that there were kids around. It wasnt just at one stadium, but several. I would say St. Mikes was the worse. I wonder if the players receive comments from opposing fans. Im curious to know if any of you former players have any stories of your trips to other stadiums. Or if you fans have also experienced some good ol hospitality. I remember last year for the playoff game versus robertson, I ran into some fans at McDonalds like two hours prior to the game. We got to talking about the game and the man had nothing but complements for the wilcats. He mentioned that they were impressed with the team spirit within the town. And most of all they were impressed with the program and the winning tradition. We agreed that it would be a tough game. We discussed the 05 title game where lovington lost by a point. It was fun talking to these people and I realized that not all fans are rude and obnoxoius. Some bad fans can make the entire fan base look bad. The best thing is when the scoreboard does the talking.

For me as a player I think the toughest place to play was Blackwater Draw. I don't know what it was but that place seemed tough to win at. As a fan I guess personally I haven't experienced anything really bad.
