I keep asking myself what has been the difference in play of the offense since the qb change was made. Some people felt that one player would be better at qb because of the scrambling ability but we have not seen this as of yet. And Im not trying to criticize anyone, I am aware that this position is the hardest to play. But some people were quick to suggest that the change was necessary. I think it doesnt matter who is qb, the playcalling can sometimes be a factor, but the lack of execution every week makes it seem that they take one step forward and two steps back. To those of you who made it sound like one player was the factor I ask you this, "Are there less turnovers? Are there more td passes?. This group of boys are telented in their own way. Its just going to take a little more to get them on track. I know once they get rolling they will be hard to stop. Im not trying to offend anyone or make any suggestions regarding anyone on the team, I am simply asking those who suggested the change, whats the difference?

There is no difference. They both SUCK!!! Lovington was better off with Hare and here is why. He had Robles/Moreno/Lopez to throw too. Robles only has Moreno to throw too. See my point?? They might've upgraded 1% on Robles at QB but lost weapons. That's just what I see. Yeah the play calling is questionable too. We were just spoiled to have Jameson for so many yrs he even saved some of the coaches plays. You take Jameson off that talented Wilcat team and they don't win State. You put Jameson with this group and we are all happy!!! Who is the Soph QB?? Put him in for a quarter and see what he can do. At this point it won't hurt any but give us what we have for the future.

Going into the season I think everyone knew there were going to be some growing pains. Inexperience and youth at several positions can lead to mistakes especially when you are facing good teams. Unfortunately for the QB's they are usually the ones that take the brunt of the blame, along with the coaching staff. The goal is to be peaking come district play and it seems to me that the coaching staff is doing what it can to see what combination of players on the field gives them the best chance to win. I trust their judgement seeing how this staff has 4 district championships, 2 state titles, and 1 state runner-up in 5 years.
