Lovington looks to get its first win of the year when the Las Vegas Robertson Cardinals come to town for a non-district contest.
Robertson is coming off an overtime win 13-7 over district 4AAA member Portales. Although the Cardinals are young they are looking to win district 2A for their third year in a row.
Lovington is looking to bounce back from a 56-7 loss to Artesia. The Wildcats lone score came on a 25 yard run from RB Justin Bromley.
Lovington has won the last 6 games with the Cardinals including a 41-6 victory in Las Vegas last year. Prediction: Lovington breaks into the win column in a big way. 35-7
