What are your most memorable wildcat moments. Which is the biggest? There are so many, Urlacher tip toe catch vs. Artesia in 95. Urlacher td catch and two point conversion in 95 that ruined 4th ranked 4A roswells homecoming. Reggie Hargroves td run in state title game vs. st michaels in 04. Dominic Morenos td catch in playoff game vs. st mikes in 08, dominic morenos game tying td catch vs. hobbs in 09. Chris Hatchers int for td vs. st, mikes in 05. Jaden Swinson tackling the hobbs qb behind the line of scrimmage in 09. D line stopping the ruidoso runner on fourth and goal in 08. How about how cold it was when lvt played academy here in 07. I know there are MANY more moments, and it was always a joy to see some players play their positions the way they did. It always gave us as fans a sense of confidence knowing that this player if a play went to his side, he would make the play, players like Joe Hart, Ronnie Alexander, Alonzo Gallegos, Albert Carrasco, Damian Mendoza. And there were those who made you feel that when they have the ball theres a good chance they will score, Urlacher of course, Fabian Contreras, Caden Jameson, Anson Brown, Any one of the Hargrove brothers. Alonso Navarro, Jacob Jameson. I know i left out many and i apologize for that. But these and many other players are what gives us the moments we remember forever. I think that is what keeps lovington a powerhouse every year. Its what has made this program the best in the state. And just think how many more memories are yet to come.

Those definitely bring back some good moments. Here are a few others that I remember...
'89 Allan Dominguez catching a pass in the final minute of the Hobbs game to win 6-2.
'93 Freddie Gonzales throwing a pass to Jason ?? with no time left on the clock to beat Carlsbad.
'94 Anson Brown catching a pass with a broken hand from Urlacher who also had a broken hand that led to a fg that beat Silver City 10-3. Silver City was 11-0 at the time.
'01 Caden Jameson leading the Cat's to a comeback victory over Artesia in the second half.
Can't remember the year but in Carlsbad Lovington scored and went for 2 and the win and ran it right down their throat. I believe it was '98 or '99.

It was Jason Kelly that caught the pass against Cbad. And 99 was the year we beat Cbad in a shoot out.
The cats coming back to win against artesia in 2001 would top mine. The 86 win in the bulldog bowl is a big one too.

It was Jason Kelly that caught the pass against Cbad. And 99 was the year we beat Cbad in a shoot out. The funny thing on the Carlsbad game in '93, we were down 6 with a couple seconds left and Freddy Gonzales was throwing the pass to me in the endzone for one last heave. He got hit pretty hard that made his pass spin sideways and LUCKILY right in the hands of Jason Kelly on the 5 and broke a couple tackles to score with no time left.
Now that was a crazy game!!!

That was a crazy game! That 93 team was pretty good. Aztec was a Montserrat that year though. That bogus clipping call killed the comeback.
